Mission Statement
Dear Dinah’s mission is to create a safe space or survivors of human trafficking and to help raise awareness by connecting a community of people who are devoted to protecting and empowering the Dinah’s of the world.
Vision Statement
We envision cities transformed by the love of Christ — where the Church rises up to end human trafficking and every Dinah finds refuge, restoration, and a place to belong.
Value Statement
We believe every soul is created in God’s image, with a unique purpose and a calling to freedom. The fight against human trafficking is a spiritual battle, and the Church is called to lead with compassion, hope, and the love of Jesus. We stand with survivors, committed to pointing them to Jesus — the ultimate rescuer where true victory and lasting freedom are found.
Statement of Faith
We, as a ministry dedicated to the restoration and empowerment of victims and survivors of human trafficking, affirm our deep belief in the sanctity of every human life. All people are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27) and are worthy of dignity, respect, and love. Human trafficking, which degrades and exploits God's creation, is a grievous violation of this truth. We also believe in the redemptive power of Jesus Christ, who came to “bind up the brokenhearted” and “proclaim freedom for the captives” (Isaiah 61:1, Luke 4:18). Through Christ, there is hope for healing and restoration, and we stand firm in the belief that no person is beyond His transformative love.
Our ministry is rooted in God’s call to justice. We are called to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God (Micah 6:8). In response to the injustice of human trafficking, we commit to standing alongside the vulnerable, advocating for their rights, and working toward justice, freedom, and healing for all. We also embrace the compassion that Jesus shows to the oppressed and marginalized, as reflected in Matthew 25:35-40, and strive to embody that compassion by offering care, support, and empowerment to those who have suffered through trafficking.
We are dedicated to the ministry of reconciliation, as God has called us to restore broken relationships between individuals, God, and society (2 Corinthians 5:18-19). We believe that through our work, survivors can experience not only physical and emotional restoration but also spiritual healing, finding wholeness and dignity in Christ. The power of prayer is central to our ministry, and we rely on prayer to bring freedom, healing, and divine intervention for both victims and those who labor to help rescue and restore them.
Above all, we stand firm in the hope that God has a future filled with hope for every survivor (Jeremiah 29:11). As we walk alongside them in their journey toward healing, we are committed to providing the resources and support they need to rebuild their lives in the fullness of life that God intends. In all things, we place our trust in the power of Jesus Christ to heal, restore, and transform, and we seek to reflect His justice, mercy, and love in every action we take. May His guidance lead us as we serve those in need, and may His Kingdom be advanced through our efforts. Amen.
